Bombshare:Nana Addo is a 'dead okro' - NDC's Kofi Adams mocks

National Organizer of the NDC, Kofi Adams says flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Akuffo Addo is not cut to be Ghana’s president
Kofi Adams argues that Nana Addo is not youthful as compared to the sitting president, John Dramani Mahama

National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has described the flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo as a ‘dead okro’ stating that he (Akuffo Addo) cannot be trusted with the destiny of the nation.

Justifying his assertion to a group of supporters at Tamale in the Northern Region, Kofi Adams stated the need for President Mahama to be retained come the 2016 general elections stating that he, the president, was far youthful than Nana Addo.

“When I say President Mahama is a fresh okro and Akuffo Addo is a failed dead okro, I will tell you why; even President Kufour himself who knew the people he was working with never supported Akufo-Addo in 2007, he never did…It will be a monumental mistake to entrust the destiny of this country into Akufo-Addo’s hands” he stated.

Just as the general elections draw near, concerns have been raised over the health of the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as political opponents say he remains too old to lead the country. Meanwhile Nana Addo has argued that his capacity to lead the country should he win the general elections can not be premised on his age but rather his competence and experience.
