The Asante King has added his voice to the ongoing conflicts at Agogo and Old Tafo pledging his resolve to restore calm in the war torn area.
Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has cleared the air over his political affiliation stating that he is never a member of the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Addressing a group of chiefs and elders of the Ashanti Kingdom upon his return from South Africa, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II revealed that all he is interested in as a Ghanaian is the betterment of Ghana and the Ashanti Kingdom stating that his duties can clearly be seen in his contribution to all past and present presidents devoid of partisanship.
Meanwhile Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has added his voice to the conflicts at Agogo and Old Tafo as he has stated his resolve to calm the nerves of agitated residents and also ensure that his contributions would inure to the peace and stability of the conflict prone area.
