All are receiving treatment as health officials say they were hungry and dehydrated
Ten school children including a soldier collapsed while participating in the Independence Day parade at Tamale in the Northern Region, health officials have confirmed.
The children, who are feared to be unconscious are currently receiving treatment in the ambulances stationed at the park where the parade was ongoing as health officials fear all patients were hungry and dehydrated.
This is coming in the wake of the death of young teacher, Solomon Akoto who died upon arrival at the hospital after rehearsing for the Independence Day Parade.

It remains unknown the criteria for the selection of participants for such parades as the toll of persons collapsing keep increasing year in and year out.
The theme for this year’s celebration is “Investing in the Youth for Ghana’s Transformation.”
