Breaking: Police Commander DCOP Awuni has passed away

 One of Ghana’s hardworking police commanders, DCOP Angwubutoge Awuni has died. The Eastern Regional Police Commander is reported to have died this morning [Monday] at the Police Hospital.
He was transferred to the Eastern Region in December 2015 from the Greater Accra Region, and was instrumental in the conversion of the Motor Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU) into a department where he served as Director.  He has been at the forefront of road traffic management in the country over the years.
